ells Traditional Shotokan Karate www.wellsshotokan.co.uk Wells Traditional Shotokan Karate Group has been running at the Blue School in Wells since 1970; Paul and Chris Mitchell, a husband and wife team took over running the group in 1991. The group offers four sessions a week of training in Shotokan Karate In addition to this a variety of other courses are available throughout the year, these range from residential courses to sessions covering weapons training. Itai Doshin Aikido www.itai-doshin.org We teach a dynamic and flowing form of traditional Aikido in a realistic and focused manner suitable to the level of the participants. Whilst we acknowledge and understand the self defence aspects (see below), we believe that intuitive understanding of these comes though correct practise of principles rather than exploring every potential for atemi (strike) though these are pointed out. Fundamentally Aikido is about posture breaking, once this has occurred the finish is up to circumstance and your conscience. Karate Jutsu Karate Jutsu training in Taunton, Somerset.
